So you ask, "I have to buy a cross specific headset too?" Well, no. The headsets listed here integrate the cable stop into the top cap giving a more steamlined look. It isn't absolutely necessary unless you need a really low stack height for fit issues or you like the look. If you don't have strict stack height requirements you can use any headset you want, as long as it fits your frame and fork. You can check out our full selection of Headsets. Just remember that with a standard headset you still need a cable hanger that fits the steerer tube of your fork. You can find these in our Small Parts Section.
